I travel a lot and have not found another restaurant from the east to west coast that serve the Burrito Texano (a three-meat burrito). Most places want to charge you for additional meat. Martinez, keep selling this big hit! After all of these years, you still have it on your menu, and it remains very tasty! For all of the above, you deserve !

So any Mexican restaurant is going to have the flavors of where ever the cooks are from in Mexico. Just think about how many different kinds of BBQ there are in America. Kinda the same thing with Mexican food. So, let's just say that I wasn't familiar with this region's flavors. Oh, it was good, and the enchilada was an enchilada, so on and so forth, but it wasn't the flavors I'm used to.
Still, all in all it's a good place and they bring you metric tons of food. -

We went to this restaurant on a Friday around 10 pm which is close to the restaurant closing time. However service was really good and you could tell that this is a family establishment with a couple of small kids pitching in sweeping up other parts of the restaurant. They werent dealing with the customers or anything and it was cute. This restaurant is off the beaten path so it was a little challenge to find at night. The chips and salsa were fresh and pretty good though the salsa has more of a tomato flavor than i am used to. The most impressive thing was the fahitas that we ordered were seasoned well and served piping hot.

We stopped here on a road trip and were very pleasantly surprised. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars only because it's not fancy. However the service was great and fast. The food was delicious. If I'm ever through here again, I will stop.

My husband and I ate here on our way back to Texas. It's nothing to look at from the outside but the decor inside was very authentic. The top shelf margaritas were smooth and they didn't skimp on the tequila. The salsa is jarred but pretty good. I got a chalupa which had been microwaved so it was soggy and I had to use a fork. My husband got the shrimp enchiladas and said they were good. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Prices were reasonable and portions were good size.
